KAWAGOE ISEKI (part1)

There are relics in a prefecture I live.
The name is "KAWAGOE ISEKI".
KAWAGOE ISEKI means relics of EDO era.

The Tokugawa shogunate forbade to build a bridge on the Ooi river for stop their enemy.
If they allowed to build, I think it is sometimes broken by a flood.
Actually, a bridge built the MEIJI era, following the EDO era, is sometimes broken.

This place prospered because persons can't cross the river stayed here.
